What Is Body?
Body gives you Dynamic Grading’s core idea in a simple, immediate form. It uses the same DSP engine and Source Learn technology as Dynamic Grading, but with a single Body control and a gain control so you can get musical results in seconds.
Ideal when you need impact fast, without faffing around with lots of settings in a conventional compressor.
Plenty of dynamics processors available out there can do upward or downward compression and expansion. Body does something different: Dynamic Grading’s Body concept reacts around the center of a signal’s dynamics, rather than just pushing from above or below. The result is both unique and naturally musical — and with the familiar Source Learn feature, thresholds set themselves automagically.
